From the northern coast southbound we cover its mountains, valleys and flats until we reach the Rioja Alavesa, renowned for its wines. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">At the centre of this region, at a height of 635 metres, we come across Laguardia, which over the years has become the trendiest tourist destination of the Basque Country, due to its scenery and architecture as well as for its wines and gastronomy.
