This is an amazing wine, producing an explosion in the mouth of all the nuances inherent to the soil where these grapes are grown, on vines that are more than 60 year’s old.
Tempranillo variety, 100% single-variety, selected from just 1.7 hectares of old vines, providing an intense cherry colour with unbeatable aromas.
This wine is produced using the BURGUNDY method, a technique we learnt from our ancestors, born from the heart of the grape fermentation. This wine is risky to produce (PHYSICAL RISK) and very complicated, given that we access the tank half way through the fermentation process without breaking the fermentation environment and we proceed to tread the grapes with our toes, extracting the full aroma of the pure Tempranillo grapes.
Fresh to the palate, of an intense cherry red with a high depth of colour. Due to our highly demanding quality parameters we solely grow on alternate years, hence this wine cannot be produced every year.
